Scrushy Is Back in Alabama

The former HealthSouth CEO is back near his old Birmingham stomping grounds, but it's no vacation. He's being held behind bars until a hearing next week where he'll answer to fraud allegations from stockholders of his former company.

COLUMBIANA, Ala. (AP) - Richard Scrushy is back in Alabama. The
former HealthSouth CEO as placed in the Shelby County Jail after a
U.S. District Judge ordered him moved from a federal prison camp in
Texas.
Next week, Scrushy is scheduled to answer questions under oath
in Birmingham federal court regarding fraud allegations involving a
lawsuit filed by HealthSouth stockholders.
The former executive has served also almost one year of a 6
year, 10 month sentence in an unrelated case for bribing former
Governor Don Siegelman.
