A pick-up truck struck a tree in front of Hooters on Inn Road around 9:20 Monday evening.
It appears the front right side of the truck hit the tree head on smashing the front of the vehicle.
The driver of the truck was flown by medical helicopter to an area hospital.
No word on the condition of the driver or how the accident occurred.
