Neighbors will tell you their West Mobile community was once a quiet, safe area. But, now they're concerned crime has moved in. Just Monday, a man was murdered inside a home on Bonnie Lane near University Boulevard and Cottage Hill Road. Police say Kenya Webb was killed. We're told Travis Seals was also shot but survived. This isn't the first deadly shooting to happen in the neighborhood. Just last month, a man was murdered on nearby Dartmoor Lane, "there is a trend. We've had two homicides, obviously, they're not, they don't appear to be related. But, you know we're going to be sending officers into that area not only to find the suspects from Bonnie Lane but also the one from Dartmoor, so, we'll have officers in the area, increasing patrols," said Mobile Police Spokesperson, Officer Eric Gallichant. Police say the Bonnie Lane murder was not a random act of violence. They're still investigating whether or not the Dartmoor Lane murder was a random crime. If you have any information about either shooting call Crimestoppers at (251) 208-7000.
