GALVESTON, Texas (AP) - Divers have found the body of a sailor
aboard a boat that capsized during a regatta on the Gulf of Mexico.
The Coast Guard says the body was removed from the sailboat
Sunday afternoon after the craft was found off the Texas coast.
Five sailors were rescued from the water early Sunday. They are
being treated in Galveston for sunburn and dehydration.
The boat was part of the 40th annual Regata de Amigos. The race
covers hundreds of miles from Galveston to Veracruz, Mexico. It
started Friday and continues into next week.
The Coast Guard says communication with the boat was lost around
midnight Friday. The boat missed an 8 a.m. radio check.
