Rusty Bomb Found In Junk Car

Escambia County Sheriff's Office says bomb found in a car at a junkyard.

A man going through a junk car in Pensacola stumbled on an apparent explosive. The Escambia County Florida Sheriff's Office says the bomb was rusty and round, like a canonball. The sheriff's office says a man at Butler's Auto Salvage found it in a car and shook it. Sheriff's spokesperson Glenn Austin says it started making a fizzing noise. The man called deputies and they arrived with a bomb sniffing dog. Glenn Austin says the dog targeted the apparent bomb. The sheriff's office has a crew coming from Hurlburt Field to dispose of it. No word on how the bomb go inside the car at the junkyard.
