Alabama State Troopers have identified the woman who was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 188 as 27-year old Paula Delaine Foreman Wilson.
The wreck happened around 8:00 Monday night near Lee Bishop Road.
According to troopers, Wilson was traveling west in a 1996 Ford Explorer when she collided with a 1992 Nissan pickup driven by 47-year old Benny Dolbare of Irvington. He was taken to the USA Medical Center for what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers say Wilson was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from the SUV. She died at the scene.
Three passengers in Wilson's vehicle were also taken to the hospital for treatment. They are 45-year old Paula Storer, Wilson's mother and two of her three children: 8 year old Hunter and 6 year old Gavin Wilson.
State Troopers say one of the vehicles may have been trying to avoid a small blue car that had pulled onto the highway. That car left the scene.
