A 20 minute walk through Downtown Mobile honored the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior.
Hundreds of people wrapped up in heavy coats and scarves to march through the avenue named after the civil rights leader.
Every third Monday in January is set aside to remember the man who led the fight for racial equality in America.
Organizers say they hope the march sends a message.
Dr. King's actual birthday was January 15. He would have been 79 years old.
