Kieu Ngoc Phan, the mother of the four children believed to have been thrown from the Dauphin Island bridge, attended services this morning at Hollinger's Island Baptist Church. Reverend Phi Vo says the family continues to be touched by the outpouring of support. He says the children's mother is doing a lot better.
Today is the 13th day of an ongoing search for four children who police say were thrown from the Dauphin Island bridge by their father. Searchers are still trying to recover the remaining missing girl, 2-year-old Hannah Luong.
The bodies of her three siblings, three year old Ryan Phan, one year old Lindsey Luong, and four month old Danny Luong, have already been found. Reverend Vo, says the family is waiting for the discovery of Hannah body before holding a memorial service. Police say 37-year-old Lam Luong confessed to throwing the four children from the bridge January 7 as an act of revenge against Phan.
