BELLE GLADE, Fla. (AP) - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office
says a pregnant woman who was shot in the head has delivered a
healthy baby boy.
Ronkeysha Thomas was shot in Belle Glade on Saturday night.
Sergeant Pete Palenzuela says she was taken to one hospital and had
surgery, then was transferred to another hospital.
That's where she delivered the baby, which Palenzuela says was
in good condition.
Authorities are investigating the shooting.
