FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a man is behind
bars for killing a woman and leaving her body in a burning car near
a Palm Beach County church.
Officials said Thursday that 30-year-old John Liebro of Sunrise
faces a second-degree murder charge that could be upgraded after
the State Attorney's Office reviews the case.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says Liebro left
24-year-old Katie Brunelle's body burning on December 23rd after
beating her to death. Officials say the two were co-workers and
became romantically involved.
Officials say Liebro and Brunelle had an altercation after going
on a date on December 21st.
