FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Officials say a medical emergency
delayed a cruise ship's arrival at Port Everglades for more than
six hours.
The Carnival Liberty was diverted to Grand Cayman yesterday to
let off a 15-year-old passenger who needed medical attention.
A Carnival Cruise spokesman says the teen was treated and
released from a shoreside medical facility by late afternoon.
The Liberty arrived at Port Everglades more than six hours late.
