285 Lbs. of Marijuana Seized in Traffic Stop

Loxley Police find a 1-year-old baby and 285 pounds of marijuana in a minivan during a traffic stop.

The van was "mini," but there was nothing small about what Loxley police found inside.
Chief Chip Cason says officers stopped a rented minivan with California plates on I-10 around 2:20 Tuesday morning. They noticed a strange odor, so police searched the vehicle and found 285 pounds of marijuana.

Police arrested the driver and two passengers on drug trafficking charges. They also found a one-year-old baby in the car. The baby was turned over the DHR.
