Governor Bob Riley is asking Alabama lawmakers to pass abill that would prevent federal tax rebate checks from being taxed.
The Governor hoped a lawmaker would introduce the bill this week. The Legislatre meets the last time for the week on Thursday.
The Governor held a news conference at a Montgomery Wal-Mart Store. Afterwards, he chatted with shoppers.
