CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) - NASA plans to launch space shuttle
Atlantis today, although a bad weather forecast may delay liftoff.
Atlantis has been sitting on the launch pad since late last
year. Two back-to-back launch attempts fizzled in December because
of fuel gauge failures.
The shuttle's seven crewmembers will install a new lab onto the
international space station. The European Space Agency's Columbus
lab is one of two additions planned this year. Japan's Kibo lab is
also scheduled to go up.
