Mobile County voter turnout didn't break any records but 33% of you hit the polls for the presidential primary.
When the world of floats and votes collide, you get Super Fat Tuesday! Decked out in beads, plenty in Mobile cast their ballots too!
Voters like Carolyn Matthews didn't pick her politician in last week's early voting. "I didn't expect this many people to be here today though. Did you think everyone got it done last week? I did. And you thought it was just gonna be you? Yes."
Hundreds let the good times roll from downtown all the way to the single polling place in West Mobile! John Conrad wrapped up the partying early. "I was downtown with some friends and I said, I've got to leave. I've got to vote."
More than 5,900 people voted on Super Tuesday.
In total, 77,831 Mobile County voters took part in the presidential primary.
According to Probate Judge Don Davis, this is the first time Fat Tuesday and Super Tuesday hit on the same day. He says it won't happen again for another 60 years.
