The Mobile County District Attorney's Office hasn't decided if they'll try a 15-year-old accused of murdering another teen as an adult. Mobile Police first believed last week's shooting death of 14-year-old Nubian James was an accident. But,now authorities are saying it was intentional. The shooting happened Wednesday on Woodlawn Drive South. Tuesday would have been Nubian's 15th birthday, but instead of celebrating with the Williamson High School student,
his family and classmates are mourning his death, "Nubian was a smart, intelligent, brave, lovely, just a person, who you would like to be around," said Williamson High School classmate, MarKala Lewis. Williamson High held an emotional tribute to Nubian Tuesday morning. Classmates, family, and teachers were there to speak about the 9th grader. His family was presented with his certificate of academic achievement.
