Christmas Trees Not Impacted By The Bad Economy

Have you gotten your Christmas tree yet? They are still a hot item even during a recession.

It's tradition. Trees are as much a part of Christmas, as reindeer.
But with the economy in the dumps, trees might be one of those traditions some families do without this year.
Not so says Christmas tree farmer Steve McManus. "We've been having a really good year, I guess it's about the same as last year."
Jennifer Percell and her family found the perfect tree. "This year we just happened to find one we really liked." Doing without, was not an option. "This is for the kids. It's hard but you have to do what you have to do."
While most people are cutting back this holiday season the one thing they say they can't cut back on is Christmas trees.
"We might cut back on gifts to each other and within the family but a Christmas tree is just part of the tradition."
And it's that tradition families seem to be holding onto in these tough economic times.
