CHICAGO (AP) - Oprah Winfrey says she's "fallen off the wagon"
when it comes to her weight.
In the January issue of "O" magazine on newsstands Tuesday,
the talk show queen says she now tips the scales at 200 pounds. In
a copy provided in advance to The Associated Press, Winfrey says
she's mad at herself and embarrassed, and that she looks at her
thinner self and thinks: "How did I let this happen again?"
Winfrey's yo-yoing figure has been a tabloid staple for decades.
Twenty years ago, she famously appeared on her show wearing a pair
of size-10 jeans.
Winfrey says her goal is no longer to be thin. Instead, she says
she wants to be strong and healthy. Winfrey also details recent
thyroid problems and admits they gave her a fear of working out.
