A Baldwin County boy gives his family a scare after wandering away from home after dark.
Search crews combed the woods of the Spanish Cove Community in Lillian tonight.
That's where 12 year old Nicholas Wright wandered away from home after taking out the garbage.
The boy's mother says he suffers from A.D.H.D and Compulsive Rage Disorder, so she quickly called for help.
Search crews safely found the boy less than thirty minutes later.
The Lower Alabama Search and Rescue tell News Five if a child goes missing parents shouldn't wait to call for help.
"The longer you hesitate to get help the harder it is for us to get in. We have access to search dog, scent dogs, we have highly trained tracking personnel, we have the equipment to get out and find them and the sooner we can get started the better," Said Ray Hogans, Lower Alabama Search and Rescue.
The Lower Alabama Search and Rescue has rescued almost a dozen lost children in the past three months.
