Prichard police say Darryl Smith, who was wanted for a murder over the weekend, turned himself in because of all the media attention focused on his case.
Police say Smith, who goes by the nickname "Chub," shot 22-year-old Temir Hill multiple times outside a home on South Hobbs Avenue around 3:00 a.m. Sunday.
Smith will be charged with murder.
