Barack Obama has introduced Joe Biden
as his running mate, hailing him at an Illinois rally as a "leader
who is ready to step in and be president." Biden went on the
attack against Republican John McCain, saying he'd have to "figure
out which of the kitchen tables to sit at" when considering his
own economic future.
John McCain's campaign is already trying to turn
Barack Obama's choice of Joe Biden against him. It's come out with
an ad featuring Biden's previous praise for McCain and comments
critical of Obama, which include an earlier statement that Obama
wasn't yet ready to be president.
