Prichard police say five suspected drug dealers are off the streets. Spokesperson Nona Simmons tells News 5 that five people were arrested on August 21st. The undercover sting was a joint operation with Prichard PD, the FBI and ATF. The sting targeted areas identified as having a high incidence of violent crime and drug activity. All five suspects were arrested after undercover officers made drug purchases. Police Administrator Marvin Whitfield says the Prichard Police Narcotics and Intelligence Unit, Patrol Special Operations Unit, the FBI and ATF will continue to conduct undercover stings in these areas.
Simmons says search warrants were executed at 1103 Monroe Street, 929 Marengo Dr. and 1207 Madison Avenue. All three areas are in Alabama Village.

Tiffany Jackson, 24, charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Police discovered a large amount of ecstasy pills at the residence. (Monroe Street)
Robin Jackson, 28, charged with Unlawful Distribution of Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine, Mr. Jackson has an extensive arrest history and is currently on probation; Mr. Jackson was arrested a half block from where the search warrant was executed. (Monroe Street)
Andrew Haynes, 28, charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Police discovered a large quantity of ecstasy pills at his residence. (Marengo Drive)
Dorine Wheeler, 28, charged with Unlawful Distribution of Crack Cocaine, and possession of Loratab.
