- Mobile County District Attorney says the victim, a 60-year-old black male, was shot multiple times.
- The victim's body was lying in the middle of Fayette Street when police arrived.
- Police are still trying to determine his identity and notify next of kin.

Police are on the scene of a homicide on Fayette Street in Alabama Village.
According to Mobile County EMS, the 911 call came in around 2:30 p.m. One person was shot and killed.
