BREAKING NEWS:
Mobile police and firefighters are on the scene of a crash involving a Wave transit bus and an 18-wheeler.
The accident happened around 5:15 in the eastbound lanes of Moffet Road near the intersection of Wolf Ridge. At least seven people were injured, but none are thought to be life threatening.
Police have closed the exit from I-65 to westbound Moffett Road to prevent traffic from backing up onto the interstate.
Investigators are still on the scene trying to figure out how the accident happened.
