Morgan Freeman Out Of Hospital

Morgan Freeman has been discharged from a Memphis hospital four days after suffering a broken arm, broken elbow and shoulder damage in a car crash near his home in Mississippi.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - A hospital spokeswoman says Morgan Freeman
has been discharged from the Regional Medical Center in Memphis,
where he was treated for injuries from a car wreck.
The 71-year-old actor was treated at the Regional Medical Center
in Memphis after a car crash in neighboring Mississippi on Sunday
left him with a broken arm, broken elbow and shoulder damage.
Also injured in the crash was Demaris Meyer, a 48-year-old
Memphis woman, who has been described as a friend of the
Oscar-winning actor.
While Freeman was hospitalized, his lawyer said the actor and
his wife of 24 years are getting a divorce.
Freeman's lawyer, Bill Luckett, told The Commercial Appeal
newspaper that the divorce action is pending. Freeman's wife is
Myrna Colley-Lee.
The lawyer declined to provide details. There was no answer
early Thursday at phone numbers for Luckett or for Freeman's
publicist.
