Organ Found In Canal?

Authorities aren't sure what they found in a St. Petersburg canal, but one biologist told them it appears to be a lung.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Authorities aren't sure what they
found in a St. Petersburg canal, but one biologist told them it
appears to be a lung.
The medical examiner's office has the object and was conducting
tests Monday to determine what it really is.
St. Petersburg police say a biologist found the object floating
in a canal behind his home Sunday afternoon and contacted
authorities. The biologist told officers he believes it's a lung --
although he could not say if it was that of a human or animal.
No further information has been released.
