On Thursday, July 31, 2008, at approximately 4:30p.m. Prichard Police apprehended 34 year old Harvey Ogivens Reese of Prichard. Prichard Police had identified Mr. Reese as the shooter of a 16 year of victim in the leg in the Alabama Village area. The incident happened on July 25, 2008.
Based on information, Prichard Police SRT Team, searched the residence of Sharon Nichols, who resides at 1001 Marengo Drive in the Alabama Village area, where they found Harvey O. Reese hiding in the closet. Ms. Nichols admitted that she was aware that her boyfriend was wanted in connection with the shooting. Police Administrator Marvin Whitfield said that Ms. Nichols will be charged with hindering prosecution. Both subjects have been booked and transported to Metro jail.
