It will be up to a Baldwin County Grand Jury to decide if a Foley man will face capital murder charges. Ross Wolfinger is accused of killing Judy Barney in June. Her partially clothed body was found underneath several pieces of furniture inside her home on Section Street. She had been dead for days.
At a preliminary hearing today, a detective told the court Wolfinger confessed to killing Barney; hitting her head with a hammer as many as four times. Wolfinger is also accused of stealing the woman’s ATM card and several pieces of jewelry.
