Christy Byrd Philips, a math teacher at Loxley Elementary School, has been found guilty on drug charges in a Baldwin County courtroom.

The Baldwin County Drug Task force raided her home in Robertsdale home in December of 2006. They found meth and marijuana.

Baldwin County School System officials tell News 5 that the Superintendent will now recommend the School Board terminate Philips' contract. Philips has been on paid administrative leave since her arrest.
