Vandals Blamed for Sewer Overflow

Vandals are being blamed for a sanitary sewer overflow that occured on Monday. Mobile Area Water and Sewer Service reported approximately four million gallons of wastewater were released from the manhole. It happened south of I-10 east of Mobile South Business Park. The overflow went into a wooded area that leads into Rattlesnake Bayou. Crews removed the debris and stopped the overflow. If you have any information you are asked to call the Mobile County Sheriff's Office.
