Mobile Police are investigating a homicide this evening. It happened just before 7pm on Lincoln Boulevard near the intersection of 8th Street in the Mobile Terrace community. Police say the victim, 35 year old Andrew Hawthorne, was shot by an unknown suspect at the location. Police are still looking for the suspect. No description of the suspect was given. Police say the suspect and victim were involved in an altercation just prior to the shooting. If you have any information on this crime call Mobile Police at 208-7211.
