A two vehicle accident in Escambia County, Florida, on Wednesday night claimed the lives of two people. Vanna Young of Pensacola and Chris Barnette of Jacksonville, Florida, were killed when the two vehicles they were each driving collided head on on State Road 292 near Gulfview Lane. The Florida Highway Patrol says that Young drove her Ford Mustang into the oncoming lane hitting Barnette, his passenger and a four year old boy in their Ford SUV. The boy was restrained in a child safety seat and was not injured. The passenger in Barnette's vehicle sustained a broken leg and was taken to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola and listed in serious condition.
