A tow truck had to be towed after the driver crashed into a tree, putting the brakes on a police chase.
Police in Ocala, Florida pulled over 28-year-old Brett Wass to question him about his possible involvement in a sex crime. But Wass didn't stay put for long. He hit the gas and lead police on a 9 mile long chase.
The chase came to a crashing halt when Wass went off the road and hit a cop car, then a tree. An officer was hurt when he jumped out of the way. He was standing near the patrol car that Wass hit.
After the crash, Wass got out of the tow truck and ran. But it didn't take long to get their man.
