For 58 minutes, Auburn played lackluster football vs Kansas State. But they finally woke up from their siesta with 2:01 remaining, as Brandon Cox found a wide open Gabe McKenzie in the endzone to retake the lead for the 1st time since 3-nothing early in the 1st quarter. The next Wildcat possession, All-American defensive end, Quinton Groves sacked Josh Freeman for the 2nd time on the night, forcing a fumble recovered by Antonio Coleman, who returned it 34 yards for a touchdown to seal the game. 23-13 was the final.
