The crowd at Baumhower's Wing's Restaurant has one thing in common. They love college football. "I've always been a southern belle and football's in our blood”. Said, Shannon McClure, Auburn Fan. It carries on generation after generation.
"War eagle! Auburn Rules!" Peyton McClure. Robert Springfield says he didn't get the Labor Day weekend off but the Alabama ban fan says he would rather be here cheering on his team instead. "I can't drive up there and drive back and be at work at four o'clock tomorrow morning so this is the next best thing to be here at Baumhower's an old Alabama guy and holler Roll Tide." Said, Robert Springfield, Alabama Fan. Two big games for two big rivals and big expectations for a team who has this sea of crimson to cheer them on and a new head coach with big shoes to fill. "Everybody says we're still holding on to Bear Bryant, but I think he'll do well." Said, Jeff Eardley, Alabama Fan. “He was LSU's head coach and then he went to the dolphins and now he's back in college, so you have to think he's got some good ideas." Said, Petra Lattman, Auburn Fan. But despite a few bumpy seasons the fans continue to hope for the best. "They had a rough year last year and with all the coaching turn around they've had and just bad luck I think they've had, I'm rootin' for Alabama to have a good season this year." Said, Bo Bishop, General Manager, Baumhower's Wings Restaurant. The Auburn Tigers and Crimson Tide square off at the end of the season November 24th.
