Mobile Police are now advertising who they want to catch. The department has teamed up with an advertising company to put the names & faces of violent criminals or missing persons on 13 new digital billboards around town.
“This is a very exciting partnership that will allow us to move fast and efficiently if we’re looking for violent criminals, or if we need to find a missing person who might be in distress,” said Police Chief Phillip Garrett.
Lamar Advertising says it can put up photos and information in less than 15 minutes.
The first electronic wanted poster features 21-year-old Oscar Finch. He is wanted in connection with the November 20th robbery of the Compass Bank at 2901 Spring Hill Ave.
The criminals that are featured on the digital billboards can also be found on-line.
