A local blood supplier is hoping you will give someone the gift of life this holiday season. And they say there's a big need for it,especially at this time of year. A representative for LIFESouth Community Blood Centers says their blood drive at Infirmary West Wednesday was successful. But, there is still a need. That's why they're asking for your help, "and really it's a Christmas gift for yourself and for your loved ones, because, the only way we can get blood is from another person and we have to ask you to give of yourself and it's called the power of one, one person can save three people's lives," said LIFESouth Community Blood Centers District Community Development Coordinator, Ozzie Elortegui.
