Man Shot Eleven Times and Survives!

Prichard police are looking for the people responsible for shooting a man eleven times.
The amazing thing, the victim is still alive.
Officers say early sunday morning, Scott Houghtaling was found near Whispering Pines Cemetery with several gunshot wounds to his body.
They say they still do not know what he was doing in the area.
Houghtaling's family told News Five that they were told he went to an ATM and several men approached him.
When he got in his car, the men followed him and rammed his vehicle.
His family said when he stopped, the men demanded money and when he was reached to give it to them, they shot him.
"It only takes one gunshot and it can be fatal. We're pleased to know that the victim is doing well at this moment. We hope that he continues to get better. But again, shootings, unfortunately they occur and whether it's one time or multiple times, we investigate them all the same," said Prichard Police Department Spokesperson Major Pat Mitchell.
Police say they've spoken with Houghtaling several times to get more information on who may have shot him.
He is at USA Medical Center where he listed in critical condition.
