LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - A Pennsylvania woman is out of
jail after spending the night behind bars for trying to enter Walt
Disney World's Magic Kingdom with a loaded handgun.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office says 63-year-old Mary Ann
Richardson of Nickelson, Pennsylvania told investigators she forgot
about the gun when she was arrested yesterday.
The gun was found during a routine safety check. Authorities say
the gun was loaded with seven live rounds in the magazine, but the
chamber was empty. Authorities also found a pair of scissors and a
locked-blade knife in her purse.
She was charged with carrying a concealed weapon inside the
theme park with her grandchildren.
Richardson posted bail this morning.
