Ten Vehicles Stolen From A Prichard Car Sales Business

Prichard Police are asking for your help in trying to find car thieves that stole ten cars from a used car dealer.
The vehicles were stolen over the weekend from Eight Mile Auto Sales in the 4200 block of St. Stephens Road in Eight Mile.
Prichard Police Major Pat Mitchell said, "The individual or individuals responsible for this theft made entry through the side fence of the business, and made entry through the side door of the business. Once inside the business, they were able to retrieve keys to the vehicles parked in the parking lot and drove the vehicles away."
Liz Smith who works at Eight Mile Auto Sales said the thieves apparently used one of the bigger vehicles to plow through the lot.
She said, "They took the F-250 and just whammed everything going out through there."
Five of the stolen cars were later found damaged in a nearby neighborhood.
Police are also investigating whether the thieves were familiar with the car lot.
