How much do you know about Mardi Gras?
The Mobile Carnival Museum digs deep into the history of Mardi Gras, and leaves guests with a lot of fun facts about the celebration.
Tours are given year-round and begin with a short film that takes guests back to the very beginning of Mardi Gras with Joe Cain.
As guests are guided through the museum, they will find everything from past Mardi Gras kings' and queens' gowns, to costumes worn by the different mystic societies of Mobile.
The Mobile Carnival Museum is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9 am until 4 pm. Admission for adults is five dollars and two dollars for children 12 and under.
