The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a wreck that climed the life of 24 year old Nicole Frey of Pensacola.

Investigators say Frey was driving a 1998 Honda Civic eastbound on Interstate 10 between the Pine Forest Road and Highway 29 exits when a tractor trailer driven by 59 year old Thomas Crowley of Dalton, Georgia pulled over into Frey's car.

Troopers say Frey's Honda spun scross the median and into the westbound lanes where it hit a Nissan Altima head-on.

Fry was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly after 9:00pm.

Investigators say she was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver and passenger of the Nissan, 23 year old Shannon and 21 year old Bobby Joe Mason of Calhoun City, Mississippi, were taken to West Florida Hospital where they are listed in serious condition.

Crowley was not hurt.
