Annual preparations are underway for the Blue Angels Airshow this weekend.

Organizers are expecting a record breaking crowd this Saturday. Island authorities recommend getting to Pensacola Beach early to avoid traffic and to find a place to park.
If you park illegally your vehicle will get towed. Escambia County Sheriff's Office is also reminding people to abide by the Island's alcohol laws.
"We're asking people to keep their alcohol on the beach as long as it's not in a glass container. We are enforcing a county ordinance that prohibits alcohol in the parking lot or a sidewalk,"Said Officer Chris Welburn.

The Blue Angels will hold a dress rehearsal at noon Friday. Saturday the air show will start at noon. The boys in blue will hit the sky at 2 pm.
Officials recommend getting to the beach by 8 am to avoid traffic. They are also advising you to dress comfortably, bring sunscreen and bottled water.
Glass bottles and pets will not be allowed.
