First Daughter Dolls?

First Daughter Dolls?

Company known for "Beanie Babies" says it's a coincidence their new dolls are named "Sweet Sasha" and "Marvelous Malia".

CHICAGO (AP) - Do the names Sasha and Malia sound familiar? Of course, they're President Barack Obama's young daughters.

Now, the company that made Beanie Babies is hoping for another winner with dolls named "Sweet Sasha" and "Marvelous Malia." But company
officials insist the names were chosen because they sound beautiful and have nothing to do with the first family. Ty Inc. spokeswoman Tania Lundeen says she can't answer questions about any possible legal issues involving the Sasha and Malia dolls. She adds she's not a lawyer.

The dolls sell for about 10 bucks each. The company says retailers received a limited supply earlier this month.
