Prices are now $20 less than record price set two weeks ago.

Crude prices took another tumble. Light, sweet
crude for September delivery dropped $3.98 to settle at $124.44 a
barrel on the New York Mercantile (MUR'-kuhn-tyl) Exchange, crude's
lowest finish since June 4th.

Stock prices finished higher. The Dow added
about 30 points to 11,632. The S&P rose 5 points to 1,282 and the
Nasdaq surged about 22 points to 2,325.
